The Orange Book series represents LinkBC's three-part approach to strengthening ties between institutions and industry. It's comprised of:
The Orange Book series is supported by go2, a non-profit society responsible for coordinating the BC tourism industry's Human Resource Action Plan.
The Orange Book for Students
A "freshly squeezed career planning guide", the Orange Book is intended to help your students get the most out of their program and begin a rewarding career in the industry.
LinkBC's Morgan Westcott is available to share the Orange Book with your students in a one-hour presentation that includes her stories and experiences. To book, email morgan(at)linkbc.ca or call 604.984.1750.

Orange Book for Employers
This guidebook is designed for tourism employers seeking improved working relationships with students from BC's tourism, hospitality, and adventure programs. It was written both for people recruiting students and for direct supervisors interacting with students while in their placements.
The goal of this book is to elevate the workplace education experiences of BC's tourism students. Educators are invited to download, print, and share copies with potential work experience employers. LinkBC also distributes the book at industry conferences and events.

Orange Book for Educators: Preparing Tomorrow's Tourism Leaders

Now in the conception phase, this final Orange Book will share best practice from educators, administrators, and exiting students.
